June 08 - Moving Image to rep HD footage from London TV

Ground and aerial HD footage of London available from Moving Image.

Many of London's iconic landmarks including Canary Wharf, the London Eye and the British Museum are featured in over 25 hours of footage. Beautifully shot both from the ground and the air, during the day and at night, all material is now available for viewing in the Moving Image online database.
This footage complements the already existing HD aerial footage Moving Image hold of London, as well as the many UK related subjects that can be found in the collections.

London TV is the official destination television channel for London, commissioned by Visit London, the visitor organisation for the capital whose aim is to promote London as the world’s most exciting city.

June 08 -Digitisation of material to broadcast quality for future online delivery

Moving Image, in association with the London facility house Blue Digital, is undertaking digitisation of footage to broadcast quality.

A selection of footage is being digitised for viewing on the Moving Image online database, with matching broadcast quality files that will be made available for download on demand within a few hours.
The database already gives the opportunity of immediate viewing and this will speed up the delivery process for master material.

TV-am, Filmfinders, Wild Islands, VisitBritain, London TV, HD material and many more collections can be searched and viewed in the Moving Image database.
You can research yourself online, however we recommend that you contact us so we can help you in the process and make suggestions that best match your requirements. We will do the research for you and send you a link to a basket.
We can then compile clips onto DVDs or make files available for download.
